Privacy Policy

Weasel Estates helps you keep an organized record of where things live and who to call, so your family can find what is theirs. Privacy is not a feature of this product, it is the product. This page says plainly what we store, what we never store, and who can see it.

What we never store

We never ask for and never store passwords, PINs, full account numbers, full card numbers, Social Security numbers, safe combinations, or crypto seed phrases. There is no field for them anywhere in the product. If you type one into the AI chat, it is dropped, not saved, and we note only that something was dropped. Your record holds pointers: an institution name, the last four digits, a location, a person to call.

What we store

Your account (email, the name you choose), the record you build (the pointers described above), sharing grants you create (who you invited, what they may see, and when it releases), an access log (sharing changes, release events, and a daily marker when an invited person reads your record or opens a file), and purchase records for your one-time payment. AI usage is logged as token counts and the model used, never the content of your conversation.

Who can see your record

You, and only the people you explicitly invite, only the sections and items you grant, only when the release condition you chose is met (now, during incapacity, after passing, or during incapacity only). We do not sell your record, account information, or identity to advertisers or data brokers. Our staff does not browse records; access is limited to what is required to operate the service or to respond to a support request you make.

Marketing cookies

On our public home, privacy, and terms pages, you may choose to allow the Meta Pixel. It does not load until you consent. If allowed, it sends only a PageView for the public page, with automatic advanced matching and automatic event detection disabled. It never runs in the assessment, sign-in, invitation, account, organizer, record, sharing, export, settings, or AI chat areas. We do not send Meta form values, names, email addresses, account or record identifiers, custom customer data, or URLs with query parameters. We do not use the Conversions API. You can change your choice at any time with the Cookie choices button.

The services we run on

Your data is processed by a small set of providers under contract: Microsoft Entra External ID (sign-in), Neon (our Postgres database, encrypted at rest), Microsoft Azure (hosting), Stripe (payments; your card number never touches our servers), Azure OpenAI or OpenAI (the optional AI layer; your chat messages, any page photo you send, and a summary snapshot of your record ride along so the assistant can answer about it. Neither provider trains on this data), our email provider (to send invites and receipts), and, only after marketing-cookie consent on public marketing pages, Meta (PageView measurement). On these public marketing pages only, Rewardful measures which referral partner sent a visitor (a first-party cookie holding a random referral id, never your record, name, or email). Data is encrypted in transit and at rest.

Your rights and controls

See your whole record anytime. Edit or delete individual records anytime. Revoke any person’s access anytime. The purchased organizer includes export, free for life, and your record is never deleted for non-payment. To get a full copy of your data, or to delete your account and record entirely, email us and we will do it. Deletion is permanent, within 30 days.
